The food we eat has the ability to make us happy, feel motivated and allow us to naturally reach a healthy weight.
Unfortunately, the food we tend to eat nowadays has the ability to shorten our attention spans, cause us to be aggressive and make us sick, frequently leading to child behavioural problems, depression and long term chronic illnesses.
I understand this and am committed to improving the lives of individuals and families by teaching them the benefits of better nutrition and coaching them through healthy lifestyle changes. I work with people who are currently finding it difficult to avoid the traps of processed and fast food and want to eat better, but don’t know how.
I’m also interested in nurturing the culture within Northern Ireland to make healthy eating a socially acceptable thing to do! I’ll be doing this through free Meatless Monday cookery demonstrations, involvement in food fairs and free consultations for low-income families.
As part of my commitment to encouraging healthy eating, I’ve developed a range of artisan nut butters that are a healthy alternative to peanut butter or dairy butter.

Meat Free Monday Cookery Class
Date: 7 October September
On the first Monday of each month, Keen hosts a Meat-Free Monday Cookery Demonstration in the hopes of showing Northern Ireland that meat-free can be delicious, healthy and fast to prepare. Each month we’ll focus on a different vegetable and learn multiple ways of preparing that vegetable – kind of like freestyle chef’s challenge show, but it’s just me competing against your taste buds. This month will be a bit different as instead of a specific vegetable we’ll be focusing on raw food as a whole. To book, call 02891852771.
Date: 20 September
Time: 3:30 – 5:30pm
This week we’ll be cooking up a gorgeous Italian feast with breadsticks, homemade veggie sauce and more with our cookery class suitable for ages 5 – 8. Classes are £10/child and suitable for ages 5 – 8.
